Trinchera Land and Cattle is located in Southeastern Colorado and Northeastern New Mexico. We are proud of the ranching heritage and tradition in our historic cattle country.  Our family has been raising good cattle, horses, and kids for over 120 years and we are proud to continue that legacy.

We raise Red Angus, Hereford, and red-baldy cattle in the Trinchera, Colorado and Folsom, New Mexico area.  Our cattle graze primarily on blue gramma and western wheat at an elevation of 6000 to 7500 feet.  With an average of 17 inches of precipitation our cattle have to be hearty, easy keepers to survive here.
